As the chilly January winds sweep through the countryside, The Cottage Inn stands as a beacon of warmth and merriment, inviting one and all to celebrate Burns Night in true Scottish style. This year, on 25th January 2024 from 6pm, we are honouring Scotland’s beloved poet, Robert Burns, with an evening steeped in tradition, flavour, and camaraderie.
Authentic Scottish Fare
Burns Night is incomplete without indulging in the quintessential Scottish dish – haggis. Our chef has lovingly prepared a traditional haggis, rich with spices and earthy flavours, served alongside neeps and tatties (turnips and potatoes) for an authentic taste of Scotland. For those less adventurous, we offer a selection of Scottish-inspired dishes that promise to be just as tantalizing. We are offering a 3 course menu for £28.95 and this includes a free nip on arrival and the star attraction, the haggis, being pipped in to The Cottage Inn. Full details are available here.
Join us for taste of Scotland this January.
